Verdict

The second race on the card is a maiden race and this looks to be at the mercy of CHELSEA MORNING who can take this ahead of Skyrider and Wajanaat. Barry Hills' horse made a highly encouraging debut behind a high class horse of Richard Hannons. That horse of Hannons, Middle Club, went on to achieve a rating of 108. The selection will not have to run to a mark of anything near that to take this event and if training on from two to three will be very hard to beat. Roger Charltons's Skyrider made a nice start to his career as he finished second in a Nottingham maiden. That was over six furlongs, a trip which would have not suited the son of Dalakhani. Today's trip of a mile still may be on the sharp side but he will certainly put in an improved effort over this distance. Marcus Tregoning's horse was a beaten favourite on its only start to date but ran nicely suggesting more should come. Like the Charlton horse ideally he would like further but should put up a bold show. Others to note are Hill Tribe and Asterales but if Chelsea Morning is fit and well he will take all the beating.
