CASHEL (NAP) has won two of only four starts for Mick Appleby and a hat-trick looks on the cards having followed a course and distance success with an easy win at Chelmsford. An apprentice’s allowance negates a penalty and he’s preferred to course regular Magic Mirror. The latter has won six times here and is versatile as regards the trip but Tamerlane was less than convincing over course and distance last time having completed a double over 7f here earlier. Lothario went close here back in November but remains unpredictable while The Eagle's Nest is not badly treated having recently switched yards.
