In depth

Verdict

Talkischeap won a match at Doncaster having twice come up against Grade 1 winner La Bague Au Roi previously. He looks the pick of the trio carrying a penalty ahead of White Moon, who continues to take chances at his fences, and Catterick scorer Duke Debarry. The latter represents the Henderson stable who also run ON THE BLIND SIDE. Nico de Boinville prefers the seven-year-old, who never threatened on his fencing bow at Cheltenham but will know more today and still has the potential to be a smart chaser. Chepstow runner-up Bob Mahler looks a staying type who may not enjoy this sharp track.
