      Verdict

Ibtahaj landed the odds in a Brighton maiden with the minimum of fuss but is taking on higher-rated older horses today from an unfavourable draw. They include EZDEYAAD, who had Emkanaat behind when a close-up third at this track last time and hails from a yard in terrific form - a 7lb claimer also helps his cause. Cool Rhythm won a Salisbury maiden earlier this month but a 10lb rise looks a bit harsh and the lightly-raced Eurystheus makes more appeal on the back of last month's reappearance third at Goodwood. Perfect Cracker looks high enough in the weights at present and Benandonner has done his recent winning in plating company so Incendiary may be best of the rest.
