Verdict

Light Rose is up only 2lb for winning at Lingfield but Teen Ager was not far behind and both should go well again. George Baker went close at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start but has not won since 2012 while Substantivo is still searching for his his first win after 16 attempts though he was placed here last time. Top weight and Salisbury winner Cincuenta Pasos is not out of this and neither is Early Morning but a chance is taken on EXCEEDING POWER, narrowly beaten over track and trip in November and finally back on a winning mark.
