Verdict

Amwell Pinot won over a longer trip at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and Tinkertown won at that track and Redcar in his first season. But this may chiefly concern Kuala Limper, who was completing a hat-trick here when edging home over C&D last time, and LOCH FLEET. The former has to improve again to defy his new mark so we are coming down on the side of Andrew Balding's Celtic Swing colt who won a shade cosily on his racecourse debut at Lingfield and can only improve for the experience. Sonoran Sands is fit from a campaign in Dubai but will probably need some help from the handicapper before getting his head in front again.
