Verdict

Spring Dixie has been placed in nine of 11 starts and it was the same old story when third at Musselburgh last month. Buckland Beau has been thereabouts of late but is another rare winner so a chance is taken on the less-exposed PIKE CORNER CROSS. The latter never figured at Windsor on his first start since May but there should be more to come from him. Castle Talbot is another lightly-raced type capable of getting involved with his yard among the winners recently.
