Verdict

PRINCE OF THEBES looks fairly-treated and he gets the nod accordingly. Michael Attwater's gelding has been holding his form fairly well this autumn but is now able to race off his last winning mark. Compared to his heyday of 2006 he is very well-handicapped and the nine-year-old is fancied to regain the winning thread. Liscahane Bog's course record is solid, whilst similar comments apply to Gallantry and Mustakmil. Duplicity's second to Aerodynamic at Bath was a step back in the right direction, as Charlie Smirke's latest run at Wolverhampton was as well. Edgewater still looks a tad high in the weights, the opposite of Mishrif, whilst Willow Dancer is consistent but finds it hard to get his head in-front.
