Verdict

POLLY PEACHUM (NAP) looks another likely winner for the Henderson/Geraghty combination as she produced a tremendous weight-carrying performance to give 21lb to favourite Blue Buttons on her reappearance at Wincanton. She also beat L'Unique in a Listed handicap at Cheltenham in the spring and, despite less favourable terms, can confirm that form here as she appears to have plenty more to offer. Her trainer also runs Mayfair Music, who did well last season, while Carole's Spirit rattled up a hat-trick before Christmas last year and only found one too good in a Grade 2 at Ascot in January. Clara Mc Cloud has been busy but followed up a good run at Cheltenham with a win at Clonmel and is much improved.
