Verdict

Compton Prince took advantage of a lower mark on Turf to score at Bath a fortnight ago but has to race off a 12lb higher mark back on the all-weather. Arctic Angel makes his handicap debut on his seasonal reappearance having finished second at Wolverhampton in December but NOBLE DEED is preferred on the back of a couple of narrow-margin defeats at Lingfield and racing off the same mark in this. Deeds Not Words is not badly treated on his form in Ireland last year and Generalyse posted his best effort for some time when second at Bath.
