In depth

Verdict

Spun Gold carries 6lb extra for winning at Southwell while King of Nepal has been raised 4lb for scoring at Wolverhampton. Gentlemen has shown signs of a resurgence lately having slipped down the weights while the unexposed Ripp Orf makes his handicap debut having missed the whole of last year. INAAM proved a shade disappointing returning to a mile at Newcastle last time but had gone close over today’s trip in a higher grade at Wolverhampton before that and Richard Fahey’s charge gets the vote on that form.
