    Verdict

Even the brilliance of champion trainer, Richard Hannon, has failed to coax a success out of the frustrating Miss Astragal, who has regularly finished close up in her nine outings to date without getting her head in front. Connections reach for the blinkers here and it will be fascinating to see if they can do the trick. However, she faces a tough task as Mark Johnston's Dubai Destination filly, PRUSSIAN, showed bundles of promise on her Lingfield debut, running green early before finishing with a great flourish to go down in a photo finish to the more experienced All Nighter. She would have scored in another stride and can go one better with that run under her belt. Rei D'Oro also showed plenty of potential for the future when third here in a fair maiden just before Christmas and looks sure to improve, whilst the market should indicate any confidence behind a couple of potentially interesting newcomers in Klang Valley and Bint Alzain.
