Verdict

Ian's Memory showed promise on his debut at Lingfield when not beaten far in fourth. He's preferred to Sahara Desert and Bury Pacer on that evidence though one the newcomers may be good enough at this entry level. Pretend wears his owner's first colours ahead of Billingsgate and Late Shipment is related to the smart stayer Repeater. Ragged Robbin is a half-brother to Derby runner-up Main Sequence, but a chance is taken on John Gosden's colt D'AVIGNON, who can count Group 1 winner Rainbow View among his five winning relatives.
