In depth

Verdict

King Of Macedon went close on his handicap debut at Catterick but has been raised another 2lb for his trouble. It could pay to stick with BOLD LASS in this given the Sea The Stars filly was a cosy winner at Leicester on her debut and there looks plenty more to come from her. Lingfield winner Never To Be never figured on his handicap bow but the soft ground looked a legitimate excuse and he's not easily dismissed, and neither is recent Wolverhampton winner Archibald Thorburn.
