Verdict

Some top yards represented here and we will side with the John Gosden trained Shahmina, Adelfia and Nimra may provide most danger. The selection, a well bred daughter of Danehill, showed plenty of promise on her debut when fourth to Early Evening at Nottingham. She disappointed next time out at Newmarket behind Well Hidden but that may have been due to the soft ground. If she acts on this surface she should make a bold bid. Well Hidden's trainer Sir Michael Stoute runs Adelfia who hasn't been beaten far in three decent enough maidens, including one at Wolverhampton. She has to be on the short list on that evidence. As does Nimra who has gone close on numerous occasions this season. She finished well ahead of the selection last time and so strictly on the form-book she should come out on top again. However we suggest that it could be a different story on this surface and Shahmina is just preferred.
