In depth

Verdict

PEPSYROCK is in cracking form at present and is taken to complete a hat-trick at the main expense of Black Hills. Nicky Henderson has a great record at the track and Pepsyrock can enhance that. The six-year-old has won at both Sandown and Newbury in the past month and gone up 16lbs as a result. Good ground suits and he did win his latest race doing handstands, so there is every reason to believe that he can defy what is a 9lb rise for that. Black Hills has conditions and trip to suit and should be better for his first run in four months at Sandown recently. He has a course and distance win to his name from a 7lbs higher mark, so he looks well handicapped again now. Kew Jumper is another back on a handy mark, and this is his optimum conditions and trip, so with a nice racing weight he could be thereabouts. The same could be said of Randwick Roar, who's recent form has not been red hot, while Dev will be more at home on this sound surface, though probably needs a favour from the assessor. Pepsyrock is the one for us.
