Verdict

Both Watcheroftheskies and Secret Rebel defied big odds to go close on their latest starts. The latter is just preferred as his recent second came over C&D last week. Sam Spade has some catching up to do to match that pair though he should improve on his recent debut at Lingfield. Groove On and Plunder are both related to winners and are worth noting in the betting but fellow newcomer, PLENUM, makes more appeal. He's the first foal of a Group 3 winner and David Lanigan's colt is taken to live up to his 330,000gns price tag and score at the first time of asking.
