        Verdict

        PITTODRIE STAR should be good enough to score in a weak maiden where Not In The Clock needs a check on debut and Hill Of Miller sets the standard as far as official ratings go. Pittodrie Star was any price on debut at Newmarket in a strong maiden but was far from disgraced in finishing just over 8 lengths back in twelfth. He's entitled to have come on for that initial experience and will certainly find this weaker company to his liking. Hill Of Miller has shown ability in the face of some stiff tasks but a mark of 72 probably overestimates his ability although it does give him upwards of 12lbs in hand of his rivals with ratings. Neduardo is a cheap purchase who is related to a moderate winning sprinter at two and the market may be the best guide to his chances as it may be to those held by Not In The Clock. He should be suited by this surface and the yard houses plenty of juvenile talent. Ifs and buts abound in this heat but it would be no great surprise to see Pittodrie Star run out a ready winner.
