Verdict

Runner-up in a seller at Wolverhampton recently, Solesmes won a couple of plating races earlier and beat Wolf Hunter and Islay Mist in the process. But VALENTINO SUNRISE left earlier form behind when only beaten a length on the Turf course at Lingfield last time and Mick Channon’s charge gets the vote in a weak handicap as he debuts on the all-weather. Jewel of The Sea and Lady Mona have yet to threaten but may prove best of those making their handicap debuts.
