Verdict

All of THE NEW ONE's hurdle runs so far have been over further but Nigel Twiston-Davies is convinced he is a Champion Hurdle prospect and it shouldn't be forgotten that he had the speed to beat My Tent Or Yours in a 2m bumper at Aintree 18 months ago. Habitual trail-blazer Australia Day should ensure there is a fast pace and the five-year-old can get the better of former champion hurdler Rock On Ruby, who just needed his first run last season but did go on to chase home Hurricane Fly in the big one at Cheltenham. Coronea Lilly and the returning Quaddick Lake will be playing for places barring accidents.
