Verdict

Daring Indian has made good progress and was having only his fifth start when landing a handicap over 1m2f here in December. He should have no problems with the longer trip and is at the right end of the handicap. Halla San was a very close third in the 2010 Chester Cup and may find this on the short side even though he's dropped alarmingly in the weights so this can go to TAPPANAPPA. Andrew Balding's charge landed a maiden at Lingfield in January and though thrown into the deep end in Listed class there next time he acquitted himself very well and this is a big drop in class. Mataaleb looked very promising in 2010 but didn't do as well last season. He reappeared with a fine effort here three weeks ago and should have come on enough to go well but Highlife Dancer has needed a couple of runs to put him straight in the past.
