Verdict

If Speed Dating does not turn up - which looks likely - then BEST IN CLASS is probably the one to be with. Tom Dascombe's colt has a course and distance maiden win to his name and a 5lb rise for winning over shorter at Lingfield last time looks very fair, so he is a major player. Flying Silks is raised 6lbs for staying on well to win at Pontefract and has got track experience as a plus, so don't rule him out, while the handicapper has put up Compton Blue by 5lbs for a Sandown success, so must be respected. Cut And Thrust has a bit to prove after last time, but Nesayem is very interesting now handicapping for the first time from a mark of just 67 and market support should be noted. Another tricky contest on a decent card and Best In Class is given the nod.
