      Verdict

      Hasapop has yet to win in 11 starts on the all-weather and stablemate LINTON (NAP) is preferred here. The latter was expected to do better in a Listed contest at Newmarket last time but was up against much higher rated rivals than this and should make a bold bid today. Frontier Fighter saves his best for Southwell but was below par at that track last week and the progressive Unforgiving Minute makes more appeal on the back of a course double. Valbchek ran well in a handicap here a week ago while the returning Rain God won at Dundalk for Aidan O'Brien and debuts for a new yard.
