        Verdict

SWEETHEART ABBEY has dropped back to a winning mark and duly went close carrying top weight at Wolverhampton. William Knight's filly looks sure to make another bold with most of the other contenders stepping up in trip. That list includes Melodica, placed over 1m2f of late and Ttainted Love, second at Windsor on her latest start. Kip proved disappointing when sent off favourite at Bath but Saumur was also placed at Bath last time and can race off the same mark here.
