In depth

Verdict

Back on this surface MARJOLLY is taken to return to winning ways, with Craicattack and St Ignatius looking the main dangers. The selection landed a claimer here from a 4lbs lower mark last month, before running reasonably well last time on the slower Fibresand. The Polytrack clearly appears to suit him better and he can get his nose back in front in what is not a strong race. St Ignatius did not appear to be in love with first-time blinkers at Wolverhampton, but Ralph Beckett keeps them on for this return to Kempton, where he had previously put up a decent effort in defeat in a 7f handicap. If the headgear works this time then we expect him to be bang there. Craicattack will probably benefit from a drop of 4lbs since his last run here and with the stable's runners maintaining good form he looks very competitive. Bell Park looks best of the other pair, but Marjolly is nominated here.
