In depth

Verdict

Sir Prize bids for a hat-trick having won over track and trip before scoring over 1m3f here with previous winner Unit of Assessment behind. Regular Income attempts this longer distance for the first time raised 3lb for winning at Wolverhampton but Dono di Dio finished ahead of both the previous winner Nylon Speed and Surrey Blaze when narrowly beaten here last month, though also has something to prove over today’s trip. KYOTO STAR landed a novices race over 1m4f at Newcastle in November and gets another chance on only his third start in a handicap with cheekpieces applied for the first time.
