      In depth

      Verdict

Youthful made a winning start in handicaps when scoring at Leicester and is less exposed than Crystal Casque, who won over a mile here last time, while Sonnet Rose was successful over track and trip in a lower grade contest. Eljaddaaf finished ahead of Healing Power when third at Lingfield while May Sonic finished in front of Soar Above when runner-up here. The latter beat QUICK BREATH a length to win last year’s renewal but Jonathan Portman’s charge re-opposes on much better terms today and is taken to return to winning ways.
