    Verdict

A 1m6f winner, Wakea failed to land the odds off a 7lb higher mark at Chelmsford a fortnight ago but should stay and may well figure in the finish. But RIDGEWAY STORM (NAP) looks a safer bet having beaten Saborido over track and trip in a higher class handicap than this on his latest start. He is preferred Silver Mountain, chasing a hat-trick after landing a double at Lingfield but stepping up a couple of grades today off a higher mark. Deficit scored here in August and the unreliable Buckland is back on a winning mark.
