Perlachy is given a chance at this level and edges the verdict over Muktasb and Arfinnit, who both come here in great heart. A more adventurous option is represented in the shape of Dvinsky, who has very little to find in this company but can cut his own throat by dashing to the front too soon. Arfinnit can also make the running, as he proved when winning here a fortnight ago. That was a welcome return to form from the seven-year-old and he looks sure to make another bold bid. As will Muktasb if he is live to the stalls opening. His tendency to miss the break does leave him with a lot to do on occasions, though. He is also 3lb higher in the weights and has never won off a mark this high. Therefore, with all things considered, it can be worth siding with Perlachy, who is sure to be suited by this likely strong pace and, as he is unexposed at this track, he can represent very good value if the bookmakers overreact to the form figures presented by a few of the others.
