Tony Martin has sent over the in-form Mydor for this. Shane Shortall has been on board for two of his last three victories and the five-year-old looks a leading candidate. Saffron Wells is usually thereabouts in races like this but Theinval has been raised 9lb since only beaten a neck by Alternatif over course and distance on Boxing Day. The latter's trainer runs prolific French import La Vaticane in this and he could be well treated. Communicator was third in last year's Chester Cup on the Flat and is also interesting making his handicap debut over timber. He's preferred to stablemate Alaivan while Minstrels Gallery is holding his form well. WADSWICK COURT has been steadily finding his feet again after a lay-off. With more rain forecast, he'll be in his element and could surprise a few of these including recent winners Ballybolley and No No Mac.
