SEEK THE FAIR LAND is a confident call with Indian Skipper and Desert Dreamer as shortlist material. Jim Boyle's charge let down punters prepared to play the odds on last time out but he has appeared thoroughly progressive over the winter and could be capable of gleaning compensation today. Indian Skipper has been tried in eyeshields and blinkers since leaving Mark Tompkins. The same combination is in play on this occasion though he will find life different on Kempton's polytrack than that he has experienced on the Southwell fibresand. Desert Dreamer is more regularly seen in claiming company. He is feasibly handicapped in relation to some of his earlier form so it is folly to discount him. My Best Bet stays an easy mile. However, this drop to seven should not be a disadvantage. Carnivore is the only runner from David Barron's stable at this meeting so if the money speaks, it should be followed. An above average contest for this time of year and Seek The Fair Land has shown enough to suggest that he can collect more prizes.
