Verdict

A few of these have a handicap mark with Lovely Story coming out best,. But she has gone the wrong way since placing in a handicap at Ascot in July. Vermeulen finished closer at Chelmsford last time and Casablanca went close over 1m2f at the same track recently but Plenary and Mahfooz look to be treading water at present. St Malo, Cry Wolf and BRODIE (NAP) are among the less exposed types with the latter making most appeal stepping up in trip with Jim Crowley on board after placing at Goodwood on her introduction.
