In depth

Verdict

Grey Mirage is a very smart all-weather performer at up to a mile but he hasn't raced since scoring at Lingfield at the beginning of April and, though a course and distance winner, may just need this. CHOOKIE ROYALE has had three runs over 6f this autumn but this is his best trip and he can pick up the winning thread again as he has at least 5lb in hand over his rivals according the handicapper. Intransigent has been hard to catch right this year but is useful on his day and has been quite highly tried. He makes more appeal than the three-year-olds Justice Well and Explosive Lady.
