        Verdict

        An interesting start to proceedings with Orange Blossom looking to build again on a decent return here last month. She finished ahead of BRIGADIER that day but Bob Cowell’s gelding was making his debut and ran green in the closing stages so may well reverse the form and come out on top today. Spiritually stayed on well behind a couple of well-regarded types at Chelmsford and Physics is a likely improver having shown good speed when favourite over 6f here 11 days ago. Rakastava also drops down a furlong but will need to improve on his two runs at Wolverhampton.
