In depth

Verdict

Staceymac receives the tentative vote ahead of Nawayea and Left Nostril. The selection has missed quite a few of her scheduled engagements but shaped well on debut and there will not be many easier opportunities than this to get off the mark. Nawayea is perhaps flattered by her BHB mark. That said, Con Allen's string are in good heart at present and she cannot be written off readily despite a massive drop in trip. Left Nostril has plenty of speed but appears to see out the trip although we elect to oppose. Of the remainder, Brief Engagement hails from a shrewd yard and might be worth a second glance if the market speaks in her favour. Not the strongest race to have ever been run at Kempton and Staceymac secures the nod.
