      Verdict

      Pending Appeal made an unconvincing first attempt at today’s trip when well beaten at Doncaster while Manwhothinkshecan also came up short when upped to 7f at Catterick. It remains to be seen if UFFINGTON fares any better over this longer distance but his dam won over the trip and a recent second over 6f at Newbury looks stronger form than Unagi’s placed effort at Chelmsford.
