BRANDON HILL has been a revelation since stepped up to 3m and the booking of Richard Johnson here is hardly a negative. He’s up another 6lb but can record another victory before the handicapper reels him in fully. Vyta Du Roc has a touch of class but has been out of sorts, though not as badly as Upswing. Gevrey Chambertin also has much to prove at present but course specialist Cloudy Bob is back on a winning mark and showed a bit more here last time. Blameitalonmyroots may be best of the rest as Gorsky Island hasn’t raced in well over a year.
