In depth

Verdict

Asleep At the Back has leading claims and can pay to follow, with Tip Toes and Royal Sailor maybe the ones to chase him home. In truth none of these should be entrusted with your hard-earned cash, but something has to win, and so we shall nominate Asleep At The Back who shaped well enough on only his fifth career start at Southwell just after Christmas. Second in banded company then, he at least proved that he stays two miles, and in receipt of weight from most here, he can make his first visit to Kempton a winning one. Tip Toes is far more exposed, and in fact is still a maiden after 29 starts, while Royal Sailor is heading the same way, having been seen 21 times in all without success. The fact that that pair are put up as the dangers shows just how poor this is, and so connections of Asleep At The Back can surely turn up with confidence.
