        Verdict

        Mayfair Lad and Last Act were both well beaten in the same race at Lingfield last time but Flying Power and Blue Maisey dead-heated for second over 7f here on their latest start without threatening the winner. Both should prove suited to this extra furlong, as should Phase Shift who went close over an extended mile at Wolverhampton on her penultimate start. However, held up at the rear of the field over C&D last month, SIR RANDOLF made up a few places in the latter stages and looks ready to strike here.
