        Verdict

        It’s difficult to get away from ORTIZ (NAP) in this, despite the penalty. Henry Candy’s filly stayed on strongly to score over 6f here last month. The second and third have both been placed again since and there should be further room for improvement – Hollie Doyle’s claim helps offset the extra 7lb. Dragon Tattoo didn’t show much on debut at Beverley and Ainne likewise at Chepstow but Formiga wasn’t disgraced last time at Newcastle, though was beaten in a seller at Wolverhampton in August. Laytown looks to be improving and Lady Al Thumama is worth a market check as she has an all-weather pedigree.
