The Fifth Member, Count Ceprano and Very Wise make most appeal here and the first mentioned is put forward as the pick. The selection won well here last time out and although he has a penalty to shoulder for that success tonight, he won with a bit in hand and he can score again. Count Ceprano returned to form with a good effort last time at Lingfield, but that was over 7f and this step-up in trip will not play to his strengths. Very Wise put in another encouraging effort last time and although he has not recaptuered the form that saw him win the Lincoln, he has obvious claims in this company. Last Sovereign disappointed last time but he would have a big chance if reproducing his effort when third behind Ben Chorley two runs ago. The Fifth Member is bang in form though and he can win again.
