Verdict

MIXING looks capable of defying a poor draw and a 4lb rise to rack up a third course and distance win, while Little Richard appears the big danger. The selection is in cracking form having won two of his last three starts and he was doing all his best work at the finish again last time. David Probert keeps the ride and he should have enough time to launch his bid from the home turn and looks good enough to go in again. Little Richard is another going well and he took a minor Wolverhampton handicap over 1m 6f last time. He is also up 4lbs and with the return to this trip no problem he can go very well. Papradon returns from a break, having misfired last time out and he too has the ability to get involved, though may not see out the trip. Valdan struggled from a similar mark last time and the same fate may await, while old timer Kylkenny has been a great servant to Hughie Morrison, but prefers the Fibresand. Mixing can find the right ingredients to win this.
