In a tight handicap, Furbeseta is just preferred to Cape Hawk and Karoo Blue, with Vainglory and Proper making it interesting. Now that Furbeseta has hit winning form, hopefully Luca Cumani's filly can pay to support again, with the trip of a mile in her favour, as is what looks a good draw in stall 11. Cape Hawk opened his account at this level here in June and was then beaten on Turf at Salisbury. He looks a threat along with Karoo Blue, although he does have a 6lb penalty to overcome. Transcend was pulled out of a decent race at Goodwood last week, and should make a bold bid as long as he acts on the track. Vainglory's trainer is in a bit of form now, so he has to merit a mention, but for the winner we return to the well-related Furbeseta who hails from the family of Falbrav.
