        Verdict

        Chord can continue to progress at the principal expense of I Have Dreamed and Boot 'N Toot. The selection won nicely at Wolverhampton a couple of days ago and this slight drop in trip, if anything, should suit him better. I Have Dreamed was heavily restrained at the start before flashing home fast and a little too late over course-and-distance. Compensation isn't far away. Boot 'N Toot hails from the resurgent Charles Cyzer stable and cannot be discounted following an emphatic Lingfield success. Coeur De Lionne won a weak maiden at the track some time ago but has not always been the bravest when push comes to shove. Spiderback invariably needs luck in running and can be argued to have much more ability than his most recent form suggests.Comments that similarly apply to Tommy Toogood. Chord looks to be on the upgrade and can make full use of a hefty weight concession from his most likely rivals.
