In depth

Verdict

TYGER BAY only won by a nose when completing a double at Lingfield but has been raised just 2lb as a consequence. He had to overcome a slow start last time and another bold bid is expected. Mohi, Emperor Spirit and Shallow Hal have all finished behind the selection though the latter won at Chelmsford earlier with Ventura Tormenta and May Sonic behind. The latter’s stablemate Orazio missed the whole of last year having shown plenty of potential as a two-year-old. Fivethousandtoone won a decent handicap at Goodwood back in August and is only 3lb higher today.
