Verdict

A most disappointing turn out for the prize money on offer. Former winning pointer Aberfoyle Park, who is returning from a 21-month absence, faces a stiff task on his debut over regulation fences and this looks a straight match between Sir Toby and Ibis Rochelais. The former goes well on a fast surface as he showed when a smooth winner at Huntingdon last month following a spell on the sidelines. Richard Rowe's charge will be no pushover but TEAMtalk preference is for Ibis Rochelais who was by far the better hurdler and goes well fresh so a repeat of his second at Sandown in February should prove good enough.
