Commodore finished less than a length in front of Elizona when runner-up over track and trip last month and there was little between third-placed Liberty Jack and Crazy Chic over today's trip at Newmarket in July. With the above hard to separate, GREAT FUN gets the vote to show further progress on only his fifth start after going close at Wetherby last time. Fruity failed to cope with a 3lb rise at Sandown having won at Leicester earlier but Good Authority could go well with a belated reappearance under his belt.
