Verdict

ARABIAN ILLUSION (NAP) makes plenty of appeal. A close-up second at Haydock on his seasonal bow, Andrew Balding's charge split a couple of subsequent winners and that form looks stronger than Power Game's efforts over shorter trips. Bastille Day drops back in trip after a modest effort over 1m2f but Ad Dabaran was heavily eased when sent off odds-on for his introduction at Pontefract and can only improve. Paul Hanagan sticks with Mustaqqil rather than the newcomer Abhajat while the Stoute duo Enigmatic Angel and Onda District are also worth noting along with Esteemable.
