Verdict

New Brunswick ran better than the bare form suggests at Lingfield last time as he was eased down once his chance had gone. He's preferred to Ghalib and Bow And Arrow. The latter's stablemate and newcomer Directional cost 130,000gns while Muntadab, Light Breaks and Mecado are other debutants to note. But a speculative vote goes to the €260,000 purchase EQUITANUS to make a winning start given he's a brother to Racing Post Trophy hero Casamento and a half-brother to four other winners.
