Verdict

BUCK MAGIC has won a point-to-point, a bumper and scored three times over hurdles. He gave supporters of the long odds-on Gevrey Chambertin a fright in a three-horse race on his chasing bow and there should be much more to come so he's handed the vote. Tinker Time has been progressing nicely over hurdles and with a pedigree suggesting he'll be better over fences he's interesting on his chasing debut. Sin Bin had been going reasonably well before involved in a void race at Ludlow in May and hasn't had much racing for his age so further progress in anticipated. Hatters River came here in May with what looked a fair chance but though finishing third was never in the hunt while By The Boardwalk showed promise at this time a year ago but has last two runs were very disappointing.
